Desert Classic Concours

C-Type & Friends in Palm Springs
Last weekend the Desert Classic Concours d'Elegance was held at the La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, California. Including a tour, reception, auction and Concours d'Elegance, the weekend had many great cars.

This year the event was won outright by 1929 Auburn 8-120 Boattail Speedster, but the show really focused on post-war models more than anything else. Among these was the Ferrari 166 which recently sold at Scottsdale and an immaculate DB4 Zagato. For those yearning for something a little more modern, one of the first of Perana's Z-One was present.

The Classic comes to us from Rex Gray who photographed the entire event. He was enthusiastic about seeing the Fiat-Stanguellini-Bertone Berlinetta which could easily be included in the BAT series by Bertone.
